The cheapest way to get help in a small business is usually not a hire. It is getting the repeatable half of the week off your plate so the person already doing it, which in Canal Fulton is usually the owner, can go back to the work that pays.
That is what an AI operating system does. It sits inside your email, calendar, notes, and invoicing, learns your customers and your prices, and handles the writing and the chasing. You approve, it sends. The whole thing gets built in one session on your own business.
Canal Fulton is a small town in the northwest corner of Stark County, built along the old Ohio and Erie Canal, with a short main street and a towpath that brings people through in warm weather. The businesses here tend to be independent, three or four people at most, and the owner is also the marketing department, the scheduler, and the collections department.
I am Jacob King. I started King Intelligence in Akron in 2026 after 16 months advising employee benefits at Ohio Health Benefits, and I run my own company entirely on this system. Fourteen small businesses have had one built with me.
The three jobs it takes first
Answering the same questions. Every small business has ten questions it answers over and over, about price, availability, and what is included. The system knows your real answers and drafts them the way you would.
Remembering. What you quoted someone in April, what a customer said they wanted, which supplier gave you the better number. A system that reads your email does not lose that.
Chasing. Unpaid invoices and quotes that went quiet are the two places small businesses leak money, and both are just a matter of noticing and writing. That is a machine's job, not yours.
What this costs a small shop
Setup is a paid two-hour session, $697, and it comes with every plan because I would rather show you it working on your own business than take my word for it. Your first payment covers the Setup and your first month: $697, $997 with an hour of my time, or $1,497 with three hours. After that: $97, $397, or $897 a month. One-off sessions are $497 an hour. Current rates hold through Dec 31. On Jan 1 every plan goes up.
What I need from you
Two hours of real attention and access to the accounts you already use. That is it. You do not need to prepare anything, clean anything up, or learn anything before we start. Most of the session is me asking how you actually do things and building it while you watch.

If you have been telling yourself you need to hire someone for the paperwork, it is worth one call first.

What is an AI operating system in plain terms?
It is a setup that runs inside the software you already use and knows how your business works. It reads your email, remembers what you told a customer six months ago, drafts replies in your voice, and keeps track of what is owed. The technology underneath is Claude. The value is in the setup around it, which is built on your business and nobody else's.
My shop has two employees. Are we too small for this?
Small is the point. The smaller the business, the more of the paperwork lands on the owner, and the owner is the most expensive person to have doing it. A two-person business usually gets more out of this in week one than a fifty-person company does, because there is nobody else to absorb the work.
Why is the setup session paid instead of free?
Because it is real work, not a pitch. In those two hours we build the system on your actual business with your actual customers, and you walk out with it running whether or not you ever pay me another dollar. Charging $697 for it keeps it honest on both sides.
Do you work with businesses in Massillon, Jackson Township, and Canton?
Yes. Canal Fulton, Massillon, Jackson Township, North Canton, and Canton are all in easy driving range of Akron, and I work with clients outside Ohio too. The building happens over video either way, so where you are does not change what you get.
